If you’re in business and getting ready for JobKeeper, you’ll be aware that the first declaration and payment will be occurring from 4 May 2020 for those who have confirmed their eligibility. Providers are updating the pages regularly as more information is available from the ATO. For employers that are not yet using STP based payroll, there will be an alternative reporting option through the ATO Business Portal.

In addition to the software providers, both Treasury and the ATO are still fine tuning the program and continue to update their guidance on JobKeeper as it continues to evolve.
