In 2019, I began working at Accru while completing my Bachelor of Business with a major in economics and finance. I initially joined as an IBL student in an undergraduate paraplanner role. I am now a senior paraplanner after completing my degree and a graduate diploma in financial planning and recently commenced my Professional Year.
Beginning my professional career with Accru has been quite fulfilling since the professional growth prospects are many, and the help provided by my colleagues has made working at Accru an enjoyable experience.
The relationships I’ve built with my colleagues and clients have been the highlight of my career, with opportunities to travel nationally to meet both existing and new clients. I love working with people, whether they are my clients or colleagues, and the industry’s emphasis on people and relationships is why I chose to become a financial adviser.
Working at Accru has provided me with numerous opportunities, such as assisting me through four years of study or allowing me to be more involved in the community, such as speaking to year 12 girls at Strathcona and participating in presentations to a Rotary group, in addition to career progression and professional development opportunities.
Accru’s incredible culture and support have enabled me to grow professionally in order to provide a rewarding and positive client experience.
