I started my journey with Accru Melbourne just over two years ago, working in reception and administration. I had just finished high school and was drawn to Accru because of the amazing people and supportive culture. At the time, I was studying Medical Radiations at university, but I soon realised it wasn’t the right fit for me. That led me to change paths and pursue a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting.
Now, I’ve been in my role as an Undergraduate Accountant in the Business Advisory Services (BAS) team for about six months. Even though I’m still fairly new to the team, I’ve already developed a strong interest in tax and am building my expertise every day. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients—from individuals and trusts to companies and partnerships—which has really helped grow my skills and confidence.
One of the proudest moments in my career so far has been making the transition into the BAS team. It felt like a big milestone and a reflection of the trust and support Accru provides to help people grow.
What I love most about Accru is the incredible team culture and the many opportunities available to learn and develop professionally. Looking ahead, I’m focused on graduating from university, travelling, and continuing to grow my career here at Accru.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and family—they keep me grounded and bring a lot of joy to my life.
