Assistant Manager – Business Advisory Services
Lachlan has a combination of a down to earth, friendly personality and the skills, drive and ambition to achieve results for his clients and colleagues.
Lachlan’s Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) gave him his foot in the door of the finance industry, but it’s his passion and skills that have helped him climb the ranks at Accru since 2016. Lachlan also holds membership to the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia and New Zealand).
In his role as Assistant Manager – Business Advisory Services, Lachlan performs everything from providing Chief Financial Officer style guidance to his clients’ executive management team, to ensuring compliance through preparation and lodgement of tax returns, activity statements and more.
Lachlan has a solutions-focused approach to his work, and aims to ensure his clients don’t have to stress about their financial practices, performance or compliance.
Lachlan does this with a smile too. In 2020, he was the recipient of the Accru Melbourne Russell Curwood Award. This award, created in memory of the incredible Russell Curwood who was a part of Accru for over three decades, not only praises outstanding results and performance, but it recognises qualities like loyalty, commitment, humility, optimism and more.
Lachlan doesn’t just keep things running for Accru clients, he does it for his local community too. On the weekends you’ll often find him volunteering as Run Director for his local park run.
Best describes Lachlan: ‘Lachie, as he is affectionately known in the office, is known for his friendly and relaxed nature and ability to make financial topics relatable and understandable for everyone.’
