In 2019, I began working at Accru while completing my Bachelor of Business with a major in economics and finance. I initially joined as an IBL student in an undergraduate paraplanner role. I am now a senior paraplanner after completing my degree and a graduate diploma in financial planning and recently commenced my Professional Year.
I started at working at Accru as an undergraduate auditor through Swinburne University’s IBL program. Having changed from an Engineering course to Accounting, I was very excited to start my career and understand the scope of my decision to change my career path. I was not disappointed!
I joined Accru in 2016 as a Graduate Account and was recently promoted to Assistant Manager in the Business Advisory Services Team. I completed my Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance at Swinburne University followed by a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.
I joined Accru back in January 2010, while completing my Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree. I then continued my studies, completing the chartered accountants program, followed by a Master of Taxation (UNSW).
After completing a Bachelor of Business (Professional), majoring in Accounting, I began working at Accru as an IBL Undergraduate Accountant almost four years ago. Despite being halfway through the Chartered Accountants programme, I have recently been promoted to Senior Accountant.
I joined Accru in January 2020 as an Administrative Assistant in the BAS team. After completing a Bachelor of Education and working as a Primary School teacher for four years, I decided that I wanted a career change, and Accru was the perfect opportunity.
Jessica Thava’s list of achievements is extensive; she joined the firm in 2007, undertaking her Swinburne University placement and recently became an Accru Director. During her time at Accru, she has witnessed the business grow and evolve.
